My company has a license to manufacture retro sports shirts and hats. I contacted Broken in August about doing a print job for 336 shits. Katy Ross was my rep and she was nice and friendly. However, soon after they received my shirts and I paid for the first order, that'e when I began to have problems. I receive a shipment of shirts from overseas and it was required that the shirts be retagged. I supplied the labels. They were to do all of the labels as well as the print job. I was quoted a price for the"Tag and resew" of 336 included in my initial order. Thinking nothing of it, I asked for a second order of 6 shirts to be done in high density while the larger order was being handled. Katy informed me that one of the 3 labels were missing and we not with the others. I told her that I physically put them in the box with the others and that everything was there. Since the smaller order of 6 shirts did not require in labels, they processed it and shipped it in 6 days. The burgundy I picked out was a little darker than I thought it would be and the Winter Blue was not right so I requested a second order of the high density and I wanted it to include logos on the sleeves. At the time I made a thirde order, my large order came to me...and they did not resew the third label.  Katy made excuses that the couldn't find the labels...however, they informed me that the did find the labels later but they did not charge me for the third label. I was outraged!!! They told me that it would cost me 1.78 per shirt to sew it in and that I had to pay them up front before they would do it. I talked with Kortni and she said that it was a "mistake". In reality, they purposely failed to put the third label on because she later emailed me that it took 17 hours to do the first two labels and there was too much "labor" involved in putting the third label on before not paying for extra labor.

I felt like a fool because I was late with retailers getting my shirts in to them so I paid the extra money "knowing I was beeing overcharged." In all, not only did they gouge me, the messed up my third order by giving my shirts mitch match coloring. What they did was use additional shirts from the first run, and then put the sleeve work on the wrong shirt. When I called Broken Arrown and requested to talk with the owner Rachel said that they were not there and that that is what I had asked for. They also falsified proofs to make it look like that was what I indeed ordered to keep them from redoing the whole order from scratch.

And I noticed that on the 336 shirts where the print appeared to right (that I was forced to pay extra for a label I had already negotiated a price on) that one shirt began to exhibit fading in within minutes of trying the shirt on.

I stopped payment on the last two orders and told Kortni and Rachel that I would never do business with Broken Arrow again because of their poor communication, customer service, and shotty demeanor.

Broken Arrow Wear, Preferred Marketing Fraudulantly deceived company did not provided goods as ordered terrible customer service Des Moines, Iowa

AUTHOR: Concourde Athletica - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, November 14, 2009

My company has a license to manufacture retro sports shirts and hats. I contacted Broken Arrow in August about doing a print job for 336 shits. Katy Ross was my rep and she was nice and friendly. However, soon after they received my shirts and I paid for the first order, that's when I began to have problems. I received a shipment of shirts from overseas and it was required that the shirts be re tagged. I supplied them with the labels. They were to do all of the labels as well as the print job. I was quoted a price for the "Tag and resew" of 336 included in my initial order. Thinking nothing of it, I asked for a second order of 6 shirts to be done in high density while the larger order was being handled. Katy informed me that one of the 3 labels that were to be re sewn were missing and we not with the other shipment. I told her that I physically put them in the box with the others and that everything was there. Since the smaller order of 6 shirts did not require any labels, they processed it and shipped it in 6 days. The burgundy I picked out was a little darker than I thought it would be and the Winter Blue was not right so I requested a second order of the high density and I wanted it to include logos on the sleeves. The newer colors were to be a stock Burgundy, Light Blue, Tan, Red, Black, and Deacon Blue. Later that week Katy said that they found the missing labels and that they would be sewn on to the shirts and she would call me if there were any problems. At the time I made a third order, my large order came to me...and they did not resew the third label.  Also, out of 336 shirts shipped, I only received 334 back. Katy told me that the warehouse only counted 334 shirts which was a lie. Katy made excuses that the couldn't find the labels...however, they informed me that they did find the labels later but that they did not charge me for the third label. I was outraged!!! They told me that it would cost me 1.78 per shirt to sew it in and that I had to pay them up front before they would do it. I talked with Kortni and she said that it was a "mistake". In reality, they purposely failed to put the third label on because she later emailed me that it took 17 hours to do the first two labels and there was too much "labor" involved in putting the third label on before not payed for extra labor.

I felt like a fool because I was late with retailers getting my shirts in to them so I paid the extra money "knowing I was being overcharged." In all, not only did they gouge me, they messed up my third order by giving me shirts with mitch match coloring. What they did was use additional shirts from the first run with the darker unchanged colors and then put the sleeve work on the wrong shirts. When I called Broken Arrow and requested to talk with the owner, Rachel said that they were not there and that the shirts they sent me is what I had specifically asked for. I reordered the high density with the new colors and approved of the new colors and saved a copy of the approval on my computer's hard drive as proof. They also intentionally falsified the proofs to make it look like I indeed ordered the colors in the shirts they shipped to keep them from re-doing the whole order from scratch.           And I noticed that on the 334 shirts where the print appeared to be done right (that I was forced to pay extra for a label I had already negotiated a price on) one shirt began to exhibit fading on the PMS Maroon color within minutes of trying the shirt on.           I stopped payment on the last two orders and told Kortni and Rachel that I would never do business with Broken Arrow again because of their poor communication, customer service, and shotty demeanor.
