I was hired by crystal a few years ago when they were about 6 months newly opened at that location. I started the next day but never had any SS information taken down or anything, all they asked for was a copy of my license.

I was hired as a cashier for the front and worked a total of 3 shifts before crystal and frank disappeared on me and would not pay me for the shifts I had worked. I got my tips from each night and that was it, Their family came in multiple times a day and ordered food which they never payed for. The order would stay up on the screen unpaid not allowing me or other employees to clock out at the end of the night. Crystal said she would take care of it but another worker along with myself noticed we weren't getting paid.

My last shift I had finished up and was prepared to cash in my tips and clock out. I wasn't able to input my tips into the computer or cash the drawer out online because their was an open order on the screen from franks parents who had come in, got $40 worth of food and didn't pay. I went over all the numbers with crystal over the phone before leaving with everyone else and I left the deposit in the designated area.

The next day I had Frank calling me saying there was money missing from the register, he asked if I was the only one on the computer from my punch in code and I said no another delivery driver kept using my code account for his delivery orders. He proceeded to tell me that $8 was missing from the register and he would speak to the other guy when he came in but didn't think he'd take from them.

I told him i didn't take anything out of the register besides the tips I cashed which I had told crystal about the night before. He proceeded to say how he can't afford to lose this type of money and can't run a business like this. I assured him i'd never steal and have no reason to as I was recieving hundreds a month in SS benefits from the government. I even told him if $8 was really that big of a deal to him i'd come by and bring him the $8 out of my tips.

He refused, told me he would speak with the other driver and get back to me. he proceeded to block my number and every text and call to crystal was ignored. I texted multiple times about being paid for what I had worked even if they weren't going to continue with me and I was ghosted. I kept in contact with one of the delivery drivers there and he told me after I had left how they weren't paying anyone and the checks they wrote were bouncing.

I found out they closed and reopened with new staff because the people who use to work there broke in one night and took all the money because crystal and frank were not paying them and refused to give them their pay or weeks they had already worked. When i tried contacting the better business bureau they basically had told me because they never took my social I wasn't ever legally working for them in the eyes of the government and weren't likely to get any pay back.

At this point im just looking to spread awarness about these people and their business. They arent good people and their business's seem like mostly a front for their illegal drug activity, as both owners are addicts and actively used them in the work place. Something needs to be done so they stop taking advantage of people and stop opening up sham business's just to close 6 months later.
