Brooks Entertainment Ron Brooks, Brooks Entertainment Singing Telegrams Deceptive, sneaky, shady, unprofessional Saxonburg Pennsylvania

Recently, I saw an ad on the website of Brooks Entertainment in Pittsburgh where he offered to allow the customer to "Name Your Own Price" (and YES I have the screen shots of his web page to prove it). When I tried to take advantage of that and ordered 100 of them for only $1.00, he replied to me in an email stating.....and I quote......

"Marty, Thanks for your interest in our Name Your Own Price sale. That would be an awesome deal but I'm sorry to say that if you would have placed your order by clicking our order button you would have been taken to our order form and you would have read the following in our payment section of our form. Payment details will be confirmed by phone. Visa and MasterCard, American Express and Discover accepted prior to delivery. Cash and personal checks made payable to Brooks Entertainment are collected at time of delivery. *For Name Your Own Pricing all reasonable prices will be accepted. We reserve the right to refuse unreasonable prices. I'm sorry for any confusion and would love to honor a more reasonable request. So that nobody else is confused or feeling mislead I am putting a notice on the front page immediately. Thank you for calling that to my attention. - Thanks Ron"

First off, how hard up can you be to have to advertise something like "Name Your Own Price" and then have to defend it or immediately take it off of your website once someone actually calls you on it? Did he NOT think someone would actually take him at his word, which apparently means nothing?

Second, "Name your own price" means just that and there was no fine print on his site mentioning anything he said and again I have the screen shots of his whole Home Page.

Last, I have filed a complaint with the local Pittsburgh BBB and am contacting other agencies to shut this man down. Anyone thinking of using his services.....PLEASE contact ME for the proof you will need to make your own decision NOT to use him EVER! The proof is REAL and VERIFIABLE! I'm also contacting his competitors to let them know what he is up to.
