Broward Chamber of Commerce is faxed up Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

A month ago I started receiving calls from a fax line on my personal cell phone which I use for business. Calls came 10-15 a day, including the time from midnight to 5 am. After doing a reverse search the calls were discovered to be coming from the Broward Chamber of Commerce. Called them. Not one person could help me. Eventually was told the only person who could stop it was there president Lawrence (don't remember his last name) & they gave me his number. When I requested on the phone (which he never answered) & texts for them to cease with the phone calls he was actually threatening & pissed off that I was bothering him. Guy is a total nut job. 

Calls continued with complaint filed with the FCC and finally with the Florida State Attorney General's office. I finally got smart & googled Chamber of Commerce & fax calls and found a lot of upset people this has been done to. Apparently Broward Chamber of Commerce was hit by the Attorney General's office with cease & desist orders going back to early 2000 due to the number of complaints from people being harassed with calls from their fax lines. Fines range up to 500./call & I have over 150 calls on my phone from them.

ATT charges 5.00/month to block the call. At this point I am going to small claims court.

If you are receiving faxes or fax warring calls from them file a complaint with the attorney general. I suspect he got my contact info from facebook, and is into spamming common friend lists.
