I flew from California to take a a class with Instrutor Alexis Parks of Brows and Beauty. She did lots of advertising around thanksgiving for Black Friday. I thought the class would be a good deal because I received a machine and would learn a new technique . I am already a licensed practitioner to do body art in California. Upon arriving to the class I realized the capacity of the students count was close to over 100 123 to be exact not including myself.That makes 124. Teaching a permanent make up technique takes for smaller groups our for the ratio to be 6 to one at the most. This class had one instructor and 4 assistants. I asked how they planned on teaching all of us and they assured that they wouldn't leave until each of us was sure of the technique. Once I opened my kit the class six had become the least of my worries .!! I realized that there was only a hand piece in my bag not the machine. So I asked one of the assistants even Alexis about the machine advertised. I was told that the graphic designer put it up but as a business owner if you post it that means you approve of the content. I was told I could get some of my money back and I could buy the machine advertised .. for $700 or if I continued the class at the end I could buy it for 300$. Totally not ok. Ive reached to ask for the machine or my money back. I was sent a nasty message calling me delusional and said I had a negative attitude from the start of the class but that was because I was lied to and here I am all the way in Georgia. I have clients lined up for jan and feb to do liner and shading and I have no machine. She's on he Instagram bragging about making 100K A DAY but she did it false advertising. taking peoples hard earned money.
