As of March 6, 2015 I am officially off of probation and the State of Florida no longer has any criminal jurisdiction over my case. More importantly, Lehr can no longer threaten to violate my probation or bully me with his legal position and connections in the Miami-Dade County Court system.

He has done the most despicable act that any defense attorney could ever possibly do to a client. He tried to have my probation violated but was unsuccessful and was laughed out of the courtroom by now deceased judge Roberto Pineiro. He also appeared at several probation modification hearings to argue that he was a victim and that I should be punished for publishing statements online against him that were based upon my experience as a client and therefore, reflected my honest opinion of his unprofessional services.

Moreover, he sent an email to one of my subsequent attorneys named Ted Mastos (that Mastos forwarded to me), stating that he would sue me and take me for all that I am worth.

Again, in my opinion as a previous client who experienced Lehr's unprofessional and ineffective legal representation and subsequent harassment during my probationary term, this man is nothing but a cowardly little wimp outside of the courtrrom, his territorial arena and playground. 

I was coerced by the court system in Miami-Dade County where Lehr has the home court advantage, to retract my original statements. He appeared at a violation of probation hearing and attempted to influence Judge Roberto Pineiro into violating my probabtion. My attorney Ted Mastos advised me to retract my comments against Lehr at least until my case was officially over and done with. My retraction was therefore not sincere as I feared being sent back to prison due to Lehr's presence and influence in the court and with the Miami-Dade County criminal justice system.

LEHR, IF YOU ARE READING THIS, I HOPE THAT YOU DROP DEAD AND ROT IN H*** FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO ME.

      My brother unfortunately hired the services of Mr. Lehr to defend him on a white collar criminal case.  Mr. Lehr charged him close to six figures and promised him the world.  Specifically, he led him to believe that he would be home in less than a year.  He continuously mislead my brother and his family throughout the process, often times, not willing to go visit his client.  Once my brother became aware of Mr. Lehr's tactics, he began to take matters into his own hand by holding Mr. Lehr accountable.  It was at that time he conveniently turned the entire case over to his junior associate,  Sherleen Mendez.  Imagine this, my brother and his family paid an exorbitant sum of money (nearly their entire life savings) to an "experienced criminal trial lawyer with over 30 years" on the job, only for his case (and his future as well as the future of his entire household) to be rendered at the hands of someone with significantly less experience. 

     In the end, my brother received a multi year sentence (1st time offender) and was handed an enormous restitution thanks largely to Mr. Lehr's incompetence and unwillingness to do his job.  Sadly, individuals like Mr. Lehr are part of our flawed criminal justice system.  They are allowed to flourish and to continually prey upon the desperate family members, many of whom, are uneducated with the federal criminal process, and who simply want to provide the best defense for their loved ones. 

     So please take heed when you are considering hiring Mr. Lehr and his firm to defend you or your loved ones.  Don't fall for his smooth talk and arrogant demeanor.  He will lead you down the wrong path. 

I contacted the editor of ripoffreport.com and requested that he remove this complaint. He explained that it was the policy of his company not to ever remove a complaint. So, I would like for the record, to state that I am retracting this complaint against Mr. Lehr and I would like to make peace and move forward. In reflection, we had a misunderstanding about many issues in the case, and it was an emotionally charged atmosphere, and I overreacted by publishing something that should not have been published.
