Brylen Technologies, inc. Barbara Tzur (President) PRESIDENT is Unprofessional, Rude, Incompetent and Miserable Goleta, California

I can't believe It took me this long to file this ripoff report but after 3 months of going over and over a traumatic incident in my mind, I felt like I had to get it off my chest and hopefully warn others about Brylen Technologies, Inc. and their miserable, nasty, rude president Barbara Tzur. 

Back in June my home business was burglarized at gun point.  About 3am I was up working late as usual.  I was hacking away at my computer in the living room.  My wife, 4 year old son and newborn daughter were all passed out on the couch with the DVD menu for "The Incredibles" looping in the background.  All of a sudden I heard a knock at my back door.  Obviously this was unusual so I double- checked the time "3:13am".  I looked over to see my wife and son start to stir.  I was pretty freaked out but I wanted to see what this could possibly be.  Unfortunately, we don't have a peep hole so I went up to the door and said quietly, "who is it?".  No one responded.  I sat back down and heard an even louder knock.  I got back up and said louder this time "WHO IS IT?".  No answer again.  Now my family was almost fully awake.  My daughter was crying and my wife was asking me "what the heck is at the door?".  Then I heard a third KNOCK.  This one was so loud it sounded like the door was being kicked with a steel-toed Kodiak work boot.  I hustled to the door and opened it to see a 6'9", 300lb muscular, brightly-orange tanned man standing there with a shotgun.  He pushed me aside with one hand so easily, it was like he was opening a shower curtain.  I heard him mumble "Get out of my wayyy" in a Long Island accent.  I then watched helplessly as he threatened my entire family at gun point one by one screaming "WHERE ARE THE FILES?".  Obviously we had no idea what he was talking about as I am a mechanic, not a secret agent, but in order to get this maniac away from my family I just gathered up some paperwork from my desk and gave it to him.  I guess my neighbors had heard the commotion and called the neighborhood security because at that point we started to hear sirens approaching and the man lumbered off.  I told my story to the nice security guards and even went down to the local police station to fill out paperwork, but unfortunately there have been no leads on this guy since the incident occurred. 

Anyway, this is where Brylen Technologies, Inc. and their president Barbara Tzur come into the equation.  Earlier that year I had used Brylen Technologies calibration services to calibrate one of my voltmeters.  At the time, they did a fast professional job with no problems.  But, unfortunately the calibration certificate for my voltmeter was one of the papers I had gathered up in a panic and gave to the guy who invaded my house and family back in June.  It just happened to be sitting on my desk when all of that went down.  So flash forward several months and I actually needed the darn certificate for an inspection I had coming up.  I thought, "no problem, I'll just call up Brylen Technolgies, Inc. and have them e-mail a new one over whenever they get a chance".  So I made the call and a nice lady picked up the phone.  I explained what I needed and all I heard was silence on the other end of the phone.  Then after a full 10 seconds she said, "hold on, let me put you on with Barbara".  After a full 20 minute wait on hold I hear a gravely woman's voice on the other end of the phone, "Hi this is Barbara Tzur, WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?!"  I said, "hi, there's no problem, I was just wondering if you could e-mail or fax me over a copy of my XYZ form at your convenience".  Again I hear silence and breathing on the other end of the phone for a full 15 seconds.  I said calmly, "hi, you there?".  "YEA I HEAR YA, AND THE ANSWERS NO!", she said.  "Im sorry?", I said.  Then I hear what sounded like someone taking puff after puff of a cigarette.  "I SAID I'M NOT SENDING YOU ANYTHING.  ITS NOT OUR JOB TO BABYSIT YOUR BUSINESS.  IF YOU MISPLACE OR LOSE WHAT WE SEND YOU IT'S YOUR PROBLEM", she screamed into the phone.  Her voice was so hoarse and shrill I thought she was going to blow out the speaker on my phone.  "Aren't you the president of the company?" I asked.  "WADDA YOU THINK?, she said sarcastically.  At this point I thought maybe I could reason with her.  I explained that I didn't misplace anything.  Then I went into the whole story about how I was robbed, my paperwork was stolen and my family's life was threatened and all of the counseling and sleepless nights we've had to endure since then.  Throughout the whole time I'm telling this to her I hear her repeating, "not my problem, not my problem, not my problem, not my problem...." to everything I say.  When I finally finished she paused and said sarcastically, "Are you done? OK, goodbye", then hung up the phone. 

Needless to say I will never be using the services of Brylen Technologies, Inc. or the president Barbara Tzur again.
