Bryn Mawr Midas - Brad Alman gen. Partner / Store Manager ripoff fraudulant activity ripoff con artist bad business Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania

I went in to Bryn Mawr Midas, which is a limited partnership registered as a different name under the Secretary of State Office, to get my brakes fixed. I was told that I needed new rotors for the front brakes on my truck. I paid for the products and services and left a short time later after the service was "finished" For the next few days my brakes sounded even worse then before. I called Brad, the general partner of the business and store manager and asked him what I should do. He advised me that it is normal for the brakes to sound like that and it would clear up in a few days. Well 1 week later they only got worse.


I brought my truck back to the store and come to realize that the new rotors that I originally paid for were NEVER PUT ON THE TRUCK. he tried to give me some crappy excuse that he thought they were. He informed me that I was going to have to pay for the labor costs to install the rotors again and pay for new brake pads. I disagreed and he said that is the only way that he would do it. So I finally gave in thinking that I could contact corporate headquarters and dispute it later. So I paid and left. After leaving within 10 minutes on the road, my "Service Engine Soon" light came on along with the "ABS" light on the dashboard consol. Also my speedometer discontinued working. I have never had these problems with my truck and all of a sudden they start. I called Brad again about this problema nd he told me that I would have to pay for the labor costs to fix these problems. LUDACRIS!!

These are problems which were completely his fault. We had a written contract to replace the rotors in the front of my truck and he failed to fully perform on that contract. I contacted the Midas Corporate Customer Complaint line and filed a complaint. I was told by the representative on the line that since Brad operates a franchise and has no district managers to oversee his operations, I have no choice but to go back to his shop and try to work something out with him. Midas Corporation informed him that I filed a complaint and he then called the police and said I was harassing him and threatening him. This is an obvious attempt to have some lieniancy in his direction for a reason to not fix my truck. all to save his butt because he knows that I am filing these complaints and he was wrong in his business practice. None of my calls to Brad or BrynMawr Midas were outside the scope of correcting my problem with my car. He is completely making these allegations up. Please can somebody help me to retrieve the almost 500 that I lost falling victim to a con artist?

I was told many things of which were mainly bullshit. This guy doesn't know anything about the maintainance and repair of an automobile.
