I stumbled upon Budget Water Plumbing and decided to give them a call. Their prices seemed pretty good as I called around to a handful of other plumbing companies to come and fix a leak I was having in my basement. I was given a date and time that a technican would arrive. Being that both my wife and I work, I was the one who called off work so this technician could come take a look at it. First of all, the tech arrived over an hour late. He begins to tell me that he has to come back later with a supervisor to gauge if it is a serious matter or not. Hours go by, and the tech calls me at 6pm and tells me he can't come out again for another 3 days. So basically, I just wasted a day for nothing. The next time he comes out, he brings his supervisor and tells me that I have a a potential serious leak or that something is about to burst and that they recommend me to have the entire thing replaced. The thing cost me over $4,000 to replace. During the replacement of this project, I asked for it to be done on a specific day as I do have a job and an important event coming up that I can't miss. Long behold, the day before my big work event, I get a call from Budget Water saying that they will be out at my house tomorrow. I asked for it to be re-scheduled and the staff person told me she would call me back with a time. 3 days pass and I didn't get a call so I called back. I finally got an appropriate date and time and I was actually glad it wasn't the same tech that came out before. He kind of seemed new and didn't know what he was doing. The tech that did come out was very nice, professional, and he even gave me a tip, that if I ran out to Home Depot and bought a different part he could save me some money. Budget Water Plumbing is a decent company overall and has great prices. Their customer support staff is a little wishy washy. They should train their staff better to communicate with their customers. I am grateful I got the tech that knew what he was doing (Bob) and he was nice enough to give me some tips that I was able to save money on this project.
