I joined Built Anew Ministries six years ago, donated thousands of dollars and computer equipment. I realized they were a cult and exposed them in the newspaper and on the internet. They hook followers through an on-line chat room called #the_gate on Starlink server.

After leaving and exposing them, I ask for my tax statment. It came with a total so low that I checked with the IRS to see how I could get it corrected. I found out that they ran a non-profit corporation out of a post office box in Minnesota, and had a tax exempt certificate. They moved to Montana, where I met them, keepiing that corporation in Minnesota. In 1995, they incorporated their ministry and did not file for another tax exempt statement.

The IRS requires them to file for a new tax exempt certificate when they incorporate in another state. Their certificate from Minnesota was null and void the day they filed for incorporation in Montana. They never gave the IRS their new address, after living in Montana for about 20 years, and in 2000, Minnesota revoked their corporation, which is when the IRS cancelled their tax exempt certificate.

After finding out they had been operating as a non-profit, tax exempt certificate in Montana for years, they are investigating them for tax fraud. All of the money, computers and other supplies I have donated to them was not tax exempt. All the donars will have to file amendments and pay back taxes on the amount they claimed as deductions with the IRS, both state and Federal. The President of the ministry,

Larry Gazelka claims to be a prophet, promoted to apostle, but he should be listed as profit, and not non-profit! They can afford to be built anew with all the money they have deceptively obtained from people!
