Bureau Of Prescription Medicines Free Medicine lies, does not keep its word Doniphan Missouri

I enrolled in a program online called Free Medicine.com whic is a program for people who either do not have prescription drug coverage or are struggling to pay for their medications. They charged a one time fee of $10 per prescription. I paid them $150. I only got assistance from one company. The others were denied due to the fact that I did already have insurance. I contacted this organization and told them that and asked for a refund of $140. I was denied. They said I had already gotten $300 worth of medicines and they said what I paid was for administrative costs. I tried to argue politely that this was for only one medication for which I had paid their $10 per medication fee but to no avail.

They said I had to write a letter with all my letters of denial. Most of the companies called me to tell me why I would not get their meds (because I had prescription ins.)

Yes I have insurance but the premiums are so high, with an unemployed spouse and I being handicapped, it was hard to make ends meet. According to Free Medicine I would still recieve assistance because of the hardship due to the high co pays.

I talked to a supervisor there today, around 10:50 am. Friday May 8th. She kept repeating that since I had already gotten $300 dollars of free medication (according to her calculations) I had more than made up for my $150. I kept saying, but this is just one medicine for which I paid $10 but I could get nowhere with her. My advice: do not pay them anything. They don't really help their customers.
