Business Max - Vista Print Hidden charges not authorized were billed to my credit card, ripoff Internet

I discovered $12.95 monthly charges on my 2005 credit card summary from a company called BusinessMax. Since I didn't authorize these, I figured out thanks to RipOffReport that Vista Print, aka BusinessMax, was charging me after I had ordered FREE business cards.

I had received the cards which were fine, but I had agreed to no charges. I called the company just now and they have promised to refund me all the charges and cancel further ones. They said it may take several billing cycles for me to get the refund.

So I called my credit card company, Capital One, and they advised me to wait and see if I get the refunds, and if not, to recontact them. They said I would not have to pay the monthly charges, which now are about $75.00 total.

The Vista Print clerk that I just talked with said I had checked or failed to uncheck a box when I placed my order. By doing that, I had authorized the charges. In other words, it was my fault. BUT she did promise to refund my money. We'll see if that happens.
