BuyBackBoss ripoff, non payment, stolen, customer, privacy, sell iphone, bad company Internet

The summary result has been that buybackboss stole my phone, refused to pay me after I used there shipping label, called me a liar, lied to me, and has repeatedly invaded my privacy. Do not use them, there are to many other better opitions.

Recently, I sought to sell my iphone after I switched carriers. I sent the phone to buybackboss with there shipping label. The label showed with the tracking number that it arrived. However they said not to the right place. They then launched an investigation. The shipping company should have covered it however they started requesting all kinds of personal information about me, my employer, IMEI numbers, my cell phone numbers and then started calling the carriers requesting my personal account information. I spent many hours on the phone to try and resolve the issue. Calling the carrier I switched to, the one I had, the shipping company, and multiple other places to try and recover the package.

The customer service rep called me a liar, I sent photographic proof of everything, they then said the phone was stolen and there is a police report. I called verizon to ask why they would sell me a stolen phone and they told me the phone was not stolen and there is no police report.

Buybackboss just refused to make right on a situation they screwed up and saught to blame others for it.

Do not Sell your phone to buybackback boss, go to gazelle or another service that will honor what they say they will pay you and own up for there own screw ups.
