I received a charge for 89.95 from www.ccorder.com on my credit card bill June 5, 2001. I knew at the time the charge was unauthorized by me and incorrect. I called my credit card company and they advised that I call the phone number associated with the charge that appeared on my bill.

I called 1-888-237-1528 and was told the charge came from my e-mail address. I was advised to call 1-888-249-5730 for more information. I called and the phone was answered "Buyer's Reward". I spoke with Barbara who gave me a cancellation number (#100949525). She assured me that the charges would be reversed within the next two billing cycles. No credit received!!!!!!!

Well, from here maybe you think I qualify for the biggest dumb-a*s award...but I kept calling and spoke with several!!!!! rep's(Joseph, Joan, Helen, Corine, Linda, etc?) who kept telling me various tales. I "trusted" them because I believed someone had truely made a mistake? Later they explained the credit would not appear on my credit card but that I should receive the refund in the form of a check.

On Feb 23, 2002 I was told by Corine a check had been mailed to me 02/18/02. I never received a check. I have called every month and each time I am told the matter is being researched and that I should receive my refund any day. I asked the rep's repeatedly what the charge was for and advised that I had never received any benefits, services, or correspondence from this company "Buyer's Reward". I've never even heard the name before this RIPOFF!

More recently, on 07/26/02 I spoke to Linda with whom I told my story again for the umteenth time. She said she would send the information to the corporate office and suggested I call back in a week. I called on Saturday, 08/10/02 and spoke with Joan who seemed very sympathtic and assured me that I should speak with Bert Cartwright the supervisor the following Monday.

I was called out of town that weekend. My schedule is very hetic and I did not call again till Friday 08/22/02. Now I get the message that the 1-888-249-5730 is in-active? I am totally embarassed and irrate!!!! I know now that I was scammed! But I don't know how? Maybe, because this has never happened to me. Is there anything I can do at this point??? I found your site by typing in the phone number in my search box. Your help in this matter would greatly be appreciated!!!! What can I do to help stop such crimes?
