I work for an autism non-profit organization. George Wooden sold us this grand VIP Grammy Experience package to auction at our fundraising event. Two months later, the buyer of the package calls our office to say that they received an email stating that the package no longer exists. George never notified us that there was a problem - we were left to find out from our fundraiser buyer. In the end, we lost $8,000 due to George's negligence and non-existing package.

I had also helped George out with various other charity fundraisers. I questioned the fact that the memorabilia items he sold were missing certificates of authenticity. He told me not to worry about it but never produced the certificates. I later found out that the two companies he purchases his memorabilia from were under investigation for counterfeit memorabilia - Rock Star Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ, and Charity Benefits Unlimited in Phoenix, AZ.

#5 General Comment

BW Unlimited is a wonderful company to work with

AUTHOR: Happy in Virginia - ()

POSTED: Thursday, April 17, 2014

I have worked with the many fine folks at BW Unlimited numerous times and I have never been disappointed with the results.  BW Unlimited allows an organization to take as many items from its vast inventory to display and sell or auction for your cause.  There is no cost for the inventory received until it has been sold.  There is no other organization that I am aware of which will allow a group to take their inventory on a promise.

Once the event is complete, BW Unlimited arranges to have the unsold inventory returned.  It is in this step where some COA's get forgotten.  Remember that this inventory has been handled by many at your event.  BW works to getthe COA's returned and matched with their item so that the inventory can go out to the next charitable event.

The events I ran received many comments but the first and foremost was "How did you get autographed merchandise from so many players and celebrities?"  Many of the items are one of a kind.  It is a shame that this author has to search to find a negative about the inventory of BW Unlimited

Facts from BW Unlimited Travel Manager

POSTED: Monday, May 06, 2013
The accusations made here regarding Grammy's are false, in fact I worked directly with the winners and executive director, not the lady making this accusation. There have been absolutely no losses or additional costs to any charity over this. One of the winners requested a refund, which he received 100% of, because he couldn't attend the Grammy's due to a date conflict and declined our upgraded package to The Superbowl. See his email to us below:

"Alyssa,

I do not believe that I can attend the 2013 Grammy’s.  Do you know the dates for 2014 yet?  I will give you a call to discuss further.

 D. T."

The Director of your organization is who I've been working with and continue to work with, not you directly. Their second winner has already taken the upgrade package. In fact she sent me an apologetic email due to D.T.'s cancellation you are probably not aware of:

"Alyssa

Thank you so much for you understanding. Let me know if you need anything from me.

R. R."

Your accusations have no backing whatsoever.  We have testimonials from people that attended Grammy's in previous years and are happy to share those with you.

The clients who won these 2013 trips were all offered and set up on upgraded trips which is what we would do in any case that original package is unavailable. All of our clients understand that our packages are based on availability.

Before you hastefully post false accusations publicly due to personal conflicts, you should confirm your facts first.

Sincerely,

Alyssa J.

BW Unlimited failed to notify our non-profit that he sold us a package that no longer exists

AUTHOR: Anonymous - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, March 11, 2013

Actually, there is no truth to George Wooden's statement that our Executive Director was in any way pleased with the way the Grammy package was handled. She was notified that the package no longer existed by the BUYER, not by George Wooden. It was the travel company that reimbursed the buyer $5,000, not George. And then we had to reimburse the buyer the $8,000 profit. She was so displeased by George's unprofessionalism that she refused to use BW Unlimited for any of our other events and also refused to write a testimonial letter despite his multiple requests.

I am sure that BW Unlimited's future clients will be pleased to know he has decided to no longer do business with a memorabilia company that is under investigation for selling non-authentic items.

First, this report was filed by a former employees girlfriend who we recently ended our business relationship with.  However, briefly, I will address the accusations made here.

In regard to the Grammies package which was reported that they lost $8,000.00 on, that is false.  We provided a Grammies VIP Package for the Charities Auction which sold two (2) times, the Charity profited $16,000.00 - $8,000.00 each.

For three (3) years, BW Unlimited has been working directly with the Grammies, in fact, we had placed a deposit on a Suite there for our Charity Clients.  For three (3) years, our Grammies VIP Package was one of our clients favorites and was a top seller at Charity Auctions.  Within these three (3) years, our charity clients had gone to the Grammies without an issue and were treated to an incredible experience.  However, this year after we paid the deposit, the Grammies utilized the "Subject to Availability" clause in the contract and had decided to give that same suite to their Sponsors without notice.  The moment we were told, we immediately contacted all of our clients across North America which sold this package in their auctions.  Furthermore, we offered a considerable upgrade to the Charity buyers.  All of the buyers, except one, took the upgrades offered without any additional money from themselves or the Charity involved.

The buyer, who is being detailed here, informed us that after he purchased the Grammies Package, he realized that he could not attend based on the date.  We offered him several upgraded packages but he decided for a full refund.  Immediately, we contacted the charity and fully reimbursed the charity which sold this Travel Package.  In fact, the Director of the Charity apologized to us for the problem and clearly understood what happened and was thankful we full reimbursed the buyer (through an email - which we have copies of in our records for this event).  The Charity still profited $8,000.00 above our Charity Travel Package cost to non profit which we are still proud to report.

In reference to the issue about this same individual helping us with various Charity Fundraisers, yes that is true about the Certificates not being present.  Our company prides ourselves on 3rd Party Authenication.  Our items are not authenticated by our company, in fact, we utilized JSA & PSA/DNA (two of the worlds most well known Authenticators).  If you are aware, both of these companies place a small Hologram Sticker on the item authenticated with a registration number.  This sticker is self-destructing which means if you attempt to remove it, it will be completely destroyed, not allowing you the ability to use it on another item.  That number is then registered on their cooresponding records and websites to that exact item and authentication.  These companies also issue a Certificate of Authenticity Card (COA) with the item.  Formerly, we would hold back the card based on a $25 replacement charge and when requested by the buyer, we would mail them the actual certificates.  In Charity Events, commonly, these cards are mishandled and misplaced.  To curb that fact, we would have the cards on file and forward them when requested.  This is a common practice, and in fact, this past weekend at an event, we fulfilled that direct request.  With all of our items, we place a card, guaranteeing our items as authentic with a lifetime guarentee.  All of our items have the above mentioned hologram from the cooresponding Authenticators with the registration numbers for further tracking and record keeping.

Finally, in regard to Rockstar Gallery in Scottsdale Arizona.  Yes, BW Unlimited has proudly partnered with Rockstar Gallery and will continue to have this relationship exclusively.  Yes, there have been reports filed by individuals attesting that their items are fraudulent, however, I can attest that is entirely false.  Recently, I met with Gene Simmons (from KISS) with Rockstar Gallery in Scottsdale.  Gene himself attests for the incredible reputation of Rockstar Gallery and has conducted several signings inside the Gallery.  Gene, along with many other Music Legends, has shared with me the overwhelming amount of fake autographed items on the market today, and said without hesitation, that that is why he works directly with Rockstar Gallery.  Furthermore, Rockstar Gallery has taken a stand in regard to their autographed items and is one of the only autograph providers who uses a court appointed forensic autograph expert to authenticate their items.  Furthermore, Rockstar further provides photographs and video of the various Music Legends signing the item presented along with a certificate of authenticity attesting to its authentication.

In reference to a relationship with Charity Benefits Unlimited.  Yes, we have done business with that company, however, we no longer do and will not in the future.  Simply put, we will not ever offer items to charities or otherwise that are not authenticated by a known or well known authority.

I would like to thank the Ripoff Report for allowing me, George Wooden (CEO/President of BW Unlimited, llc.) to place my response here.  If anyone has any questions or concerns, please contact us.  Furthermore, please see our website under the Testimonials page for hundreds of Letters of Recommendation from our incredibly happy Charity Clients all across North America - here is the direct link:http://www.bwunlimited.com/Testimonials.html

Or contact our 1,000's of happy clients which we have worked with for several years and ask them about us.  Again, thank you for this opportunity.
