C and J Handyman Services LLC Handy man got paid and customer got bad flooring job laid. Columbus Ohio

  I hired C and J Handyman Services LLC to repair uneven sub floor and lay laminate flooring.I had to sign A proposal that reads Prep flooring and put down self-leveling application to bring floor flush as possible. Lay sub floor on top of existing. Remove corner round. Lay flooring with pad. Install new corner round. 1000.00 at signing and 1000.00 at subfloor. 750.00 at completion.

  I paid them 1000.00 at signing. They came and put down self leveling application in a few spots and Charley the owner came to collect the other 1000.00. He told me that the leveling appication should dry overnight. He assured me that they would lay the sub floor Laminate with pad the next day and it would all be done. I wrote him out a check for 1000.00.

  The next day when I came home from work they laid all the laminat except A three or four foot section across the front of my living room. There was no new sub floor and no padding. I called the owner and told him he needed to come to the house. I went straight to bank and tried to cancle check, but he already cashed it. I told him to rip it up and do it right. He told me his flooring guy said it was level enough that they did not need sub floor. That was a lie. His flooring guy told me the pad would hold moiture and not help the flooring any. He assured me it would look beutifull when they got done. He told me they just finished A job that they did the same way.

  My floor looks terrible It is not level. When you walk on it the floor move up and down. There is gaps in flooring and they put nail in the laminate in the uneven spots to hold down the flooring. Around the fire place Tile he did not put down trim for uneven surface. The trim sticks up above the tile. When I was cleaning up dust of my fire place Mantel my flip flop got stuck under the trim and I fell. There are Laminate that they did not cut right size and corner round did not cover the gaps.

  The clean up job they did was terrible. I had saw dust all over my front pourch where thet did the cutting. They did sanding on the sub floor and had dust all over the walls and my furniture that they said did not have to be removed. My neighbor said he seen them urinating in my back yard all day
