I received a letter in the mail dated April 12, 2005. This letter had in bold writing CONFIRMED PRIZE NOTIFICATION LETTER, stating that I had won 525,439 dollars. This letter went on and on about how I am a winner (YOU HAVE ALREADY WON A CASH PRIZE!)and that I will not have to make a purchase to receive the cash prize. The letter stated: [#1]: Your cash prize will be drawn and paid in a single lump sum at no cost to you {Section A/page 2}.
[#2]: Please verify that your name & address are correct: we do not want to send your check to the wrong person.

Then it reads in the next paragraph that; In addition to the guaranteed cash prize now pending, sweepstakes report documentation fo r the total aggregate funds amount of $525,439.00 as noted above is awaiting your reply with processing fee {Section B / page 2}. This just doens't add up. First they say no cost to you, then they say $525,439.00 is awaiting your reply with processing fee. If this was real why not just deduct the processing cost from the cash prize won. Don't believe this scam! Somebody is trying to get rich off the $21.95 processing fee asked to send by cash, money order, or check. Now everybody knows that cash should not be sent in the mail. Also, customer service line is constantly busy. I got connected twice, but the call rang two times and then an answering machine beep three times and ended the call. This has Scam, Scam, Scam, written all over it!
