I ordered and paid for $5300 worth of kitchen cabinets to Cabinets4less, a kitchen cabinet dealer/broker in early January 2004. Randy Richardson is the director of marketing. Delivery was scheduled in mid February and after more than 50 phone calls and more excuses and lies they have not arrived and have not even been built by the manufacturer since he has not released the money to them.
He talked of refunds for the delay and is still advertising his business as having customer service when the whole company appears to be a sham. They have '101' names and internet sites and misleading info and difficulty responding to me or the BBB. The company is cloaked with a Nevada incorporation, but located in California near Clovis.
All he has to do is give my money (which he has had for almost five months)to the cabinet builder or refund my money in full. The delays with house construction and completion should warrant additional penalties. I plan to bring a wind storm of activity upon his company in the interim. This will hopefully (I can't believe I'm still optimistic) be resolved before my unfinished house drops on him like the wicked witch of the east.

Original cabinets4less order has been reported by the Director of Marketing that everything has been resolved. There is no affiliation with the other cabinet dealer mentioned, so I retract what was originally reported as an AKA.
The C4L order is being filled and delivery is expected June 14th.
I will pursue in good faith the removal of this ripoff report through the proper channels immediately which will hopefully clear the blemish from the person named and his company that was listed as an AKA.

seems like progress but my optimism has been repeatedly crushed

On Tuesday, May 25th, 2004, Randy Richardson, Director of Marketing with Cabinets4less, Faxed a copy of a check and overnight mailing that was sent to the cabinet manufacturer with an amount that matched the cost of my order. I requested a verbal or written confirmation from the manufacturer through a conference call with cabinets4less that my order is in fact being constructed but Randy said the manuf. was not interested in speaking directly with a customer. He also said they(the manuf.)would rush the order in 8 working days.
This seems like progress but my optimism has been repeatedly crushed in the past few months, so until I see the cabinets at my house, I am proceeding with caution.
In addition, Mr. Richardson has offered other compensation from the delays in possibly six months. Stay tuned.
