I spoke with Tony Bass on Oct.15,2014 about the ad for polar white lab puppies in houston chron.com for Christmas, he told me that he had one person in front of me and if I sent a $350 deposit I would be second on the list. I sent a check for $350 to Heather Bass which was half of the $700 for a female white lab puupy that was to be ready the week before Christmas. The puupies were to be born in a week or so which would make the dogs born last week in October. I started to get concerned when on Nov.5 the dogs still were not born, my husband spoke with Mr. Bass and told him we wanted our money back since the dogs were not born and we found some things on rip off report about them. He told my husband that triple play labs were not them and that if we threatend him he would keep the dog and the deposit.

The next day Mr. Bass called my husband to say the puppies were born and that his wife would send some pictures in the next week or two. On Nov.22 I emailed Heather Bass who sent pictures of the puppies, I then spoke with Mr.Bass who said that the puppies would be good to go on Dec.19-21. I have a recorded conversations of this and emails, needless to say I called on Dec.18 and he told me it should not be a problem that his wife would be home and would call me to let me know when we could pick our dog up. I never heard from him and I left a message on his wife phone for either the dog or our money back. I do not have the dog or our money back. Beware in dealing with these people!!!

Cajun Star Retrievers/Triple Play Labs

AUTHOR: anonymous - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, October 09, 2015

Everyone needs to be aware of Cajun Star Retrievers/Triple Play Labs. I have filed a complaint on this site previously (2013) when this couple operated under the name Triple Play Labs. They have proven over and over again that they are scammers who have no regard for other people. They do not provide family pets. They do not provide hunting companions. There is no sense in trying to write to these people or contact them by phone because they are extremely difficult to reach and when they are reached, they give false promises.

If the owners of Cajun Star Retrievers tells you they are not Triple Play Labs. Do not believe them. They are one and the same. Same names, same town, same scam. We are still waiting for our $300 deposit for a chocolate lab puppy. Tony informed us they were filing for "bankruptcy" and would send it in a settlement.

If you have been scammed by these people. Take them to court immediately. It is the only way you'll get your money back.

Tony and Heather Bass are definite scammers!!

AUTHOR: Lydia - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 29, 2015

Tony and Heather Bass are the worse kind of scammers!!!! Their track record speaks for itself.  My only wish is that people would check their creditials first!!! All anyone needs to do is google their business name and it is all there in black and white.  The details are not only listed here but on the BBB website.

They use the same tactic over and over.  Heather works for a law firm (pretty much just answers phones), and uses this as a scare tactic.  Trust me when I say, they are NOTHING to be afraid of. BULLIES

The best thing to do is file a Small Claims against them and hopefully after enough claims more legal action will be taken against them.

Resolutions

POSTED: Thursday, February 26, 2015

Working in this business there are a few times that a customer is not happy but we strive to make sure that everyone involved have some resolution to their problems.  We do not scam or rip off people but provide family pets and hunting companions to people in multiple states.  We have many happy customers that will confirm that dealings with us were done in a professional manner and that they were satisfied with the results.

We are sorry that you felt it necessary to come to this website instead of writing to us to resolve the problem.  We work hard at trying to make everyone involved happy with the decisions made to resolve the matter.
