Cali Nails is a Dishonest ripoff. Frederick, Maryland

I went to Cali Nails in Frederick, MD and requested gel nails. They swore blind that I was being given gel nails and, believe me, I was being charged for gel nails. I went to JC Penney salon and was informed that it was not gel on my nails but a form of rubber cement. I went to a different salon to verify what I had learned and they confirmed it. The second salon said that if I did not put my hands under ultraviolet light, it was not a gel-job. I questioned Cali nails and they brought out a container which stated that it was gel, they insisted that it was indeed gel on my nails.

I have since gone to another salon and they are horrified at the state of my nails which have been ground down to the nail bed. One of my nails has cracked across the bed and started bleeding.

Please be very circumspect with these people.
