Calvary Portfolio Services and Winn Law Group, APC repeatedly attempted to collect a re-aged, charged off debt. When I asked for debt validation the calls stopped but they never validated the debt. I heard nothing else from them until I received a wage garnishment notice from my employer. It seems Winn Law Group, APC obtained a default judgement on behalf of Calvary Portfolio. They never validated the debt and never served me a summons to appear in court. I pulled the proof of service from the courthouse and it says I was served by substituted service to John Down-co habitant. I do not know anyone by that name, there is no signature, and I live alone. Winn Law Group, APC then sat on the judgement for almost 2 years while interest accrued and is still accruing.

Winn Law Group has done the same thing to me.
My wages are being garnished and I was never served anything. Not even certified mail. They claim they served me and a man accepted, however I also do not have anybody that would of accepted on my behalf. And isn't serving someone suppossed to be that person who has to accept?
Is it that easy to do to someone?? All of a sudden 25% of a person's wages are just gone. I am so impacted I can't pay my bills and could possibly loose where I live.
I am really afraid!
