Calvary Portfolio Services - Sprint ripoff Hawthorne New York

I had an account with Sprint about 4-5 years ago. I had closed my account with nothing being owed. A few years go by and I received a collections letter from a company called Dept Recovery Services. I contacted them and there was supposed to be $49.00 owed that was never paid. I went ahead and paid the full amount and received a receipt that account was pid in full. It was cleared off my credit report and I was happy.

Then march 2005 sprint sold the same account to Calvary Portfolio Services and they claim that $190.00 is owed but will not give me anymore information and are total jerks. I contact Sprint and finally make them happy and they e-mail me a statement that nothing is owed and it was a mistake. They claim that it will be taken care of ASAP. I put in a dispute to the collection agency, but they still wont clear this off my credit report.

These two companies are a total joke and do not care about anyone other than themselves. I have done everything in my power to clean up this mess, but almost 5 years later here I am. Do not trust these two companies and watch your back.
