Cambridge - Brighton Budget Planning ripoff, scam Hauppauge New York

The Cambridge/Brighton Budget Planning Corporation promised to cut the amount of our debt and reduce the monthly payments. They claimed that they would contact your creditors and work out a payment schedule that would reduce our monthly bills and reduce the interest that they pay. They did not work out any payment plans with the company or worked to reduce the interest or late payment fees.

This company consistantly paid the accounts late and for an amount less then agreed upon. They caused our credit score to drop significantly. All this company did was take our money and make late payments and payments for an amount and less then required, while collecting a hefty fee for not doing anything. We would have saved more money by paying the debts outself.

Cambridge/Brighton did not make my first months payments, instead keeping the money for their "fee". We then cancelled the plan with them and told them that they are not to take money out of our account, however they took money out after I revoked my consent.
