Several years back, I unfortunately got caught up in this company's scam. Now I know their M/O all too well. It's easy for them to get blanket lists of names...of people to solicit. All they do is pay for a list...as anyone wanting to do a mailing can. Then they take the names from their purchased list, and put each in a personalized letter, attempting to make the person believe they've been nominated for some prestigious listing in their publication. Comepletely untrue! It's only a random selection of names...nothing more.
Everyone from that list they've purchased, get's sent the exact same letter. The worst part of this whole thing...is that...the letter you receive states "clearly in writing", that there is NO COST to be listed. Now that's is a blatant lie. Once the party returns the letter, stating their interest in this service...they start calling you. Then you find out...there IS absolutely a cost attached to this. They have some nerve...stating NO COST...and then scamming innocent people for their money...for this bogus service.
This company states at the bottom of every letter, that they are not associated with any other Who's Who publication. That is also not true. They get sued for their underhanded dealing...and then decide to start right back up...doing the exact same thing under another name. And they feel, by writing this statement at the bottom of their letters, that it will obsolve them of any issues related to other Who's Who companys. The truth is...they are one in the same.
Back then, when they first contacted me...they were doing business as Cambridge Who's Who. Now they're back, under a brand new name...and are calling themselved Biltmore Who's Who.
Paaaalllleeeease! Who's Who...give it up. Because, consumers are alot smarter than you give us credit for...and we will come after you each and every time, under each and every new company name you come up with. Get out of the business of scamming people...and make a honest living, will ya!!!

It is now under new ownership, Davivi Marketing, and they are also associated with Biltmore, where the previous owners of Wellington Who's Who actually ran it like a real company and did exactly what they said they would, unlike the new owners, as well as their associate Biltmore.
