Camera Giants Inc Bait and switch from web site with lower price. Items was backordered. Internet

I used a search engine to compare prices for a GPS unit. The cheapest price was at Camera Giants Inc. They had some awards and have reasonable customer rating on the pricing search page.

I was called and sent an email to verify the order. I called the 888 number and spoke to someone verifing my addresses but the call wall all about tring to sell additional accesories. I was offered a no name to me high speed HD cards for: 1 gig $99 on sale for $59 and 2 gig $149 on sale for $89. I did not order any additional items.

I also was informed that the unit was back ordered and would be available in 3 to 4 weeks.

I called to cancel the order and was offered an addition unit with the HD card at $100 more than the orginial order. I told him that was not a deal.

I asked for a confirmation that the order was cancelled and told to check my email. He told me NOT TO CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN. I WON'T and I encourage you not to support this vendor. I did receive the email that the order was canceled and my order info was deleted from their system.

This type of behavior is not scrupulous. Unsuspecting customers could fall into their tricksfor this scheme.
