Ordered my camera on Friday Jan 4. My order qualified for free shipping.  Nothing in my email so I called. They wouldn't ship til Monday. I called on Monday camera still not shipped. I asked to change the shipping so I could expedite. In true New York fashion, the customer service woman was rude and said I couldn't change it because it was with the thousands of other boxes being shipped. I didn't order from them for the free shipping. I wanted my new Olympus camera asap. Friday, of next week. Fedex Ground said today. I called they said tomorrow. Oh my gosh. Don't do their free shipping. Your time is money and it is not free shipping, it is bad customer service, and misleading customers that free shipping is a bonus. Bull crap. I am totally dissatisfied. Will never order from them again. I write this to warn other potential dissatisfieds.

Free Shipping Is Accurate

Offers for free shipping have no direct correlation with the amount of time it takes for a package to arrive. The buyer in question did benefit from the shipping offer in the fact that they paid $0.00 for shipping and the order was shipped by a reputable carrier, FedEx.

The order in question was placed on 1/3/12, and as indicated on the website, we have a 2 business day processing time. The buyer did not contact our facility until Monday (we are open on weekends) to make a request to change the shipping method, and by that point the order had already been packaged and was with thousands of other shipments for pickup the same day. We advised the buyer at that time that no change could be made to the shipping method.

The standard transit time for a FedEx Ground package from NY to UT is 5 business days in transit, which would provide delivery to the buyer on Saturday. The package is being delivered by FedEx today as scheduled. We have no control over how far a delivery location is from our warehouse location and it is suggested that if a buyer does need a package by a particular date to select expedited shipping at the time the order is placed.
