Camper World of Dothan Alabama Service Manager Had RV for 8 months, Poor repairs, Crooked, requesting more money to correct repairs, that have already been paid for. Dothan, Alabama

We took our RV to Camping World of Dothan. I had just purchased a used RV and knew there were issues with leaks at the windows and wanted them repaired and requested a full inspection. The service department did not seem to know what they were doing. They kept the RV for over 6 months. I ended up spending 11,000 dollars to repair a 2004 bumper pull RV. When we finally went to pick it up January 2012, I noticed that the window stripping that was supposed to have been replaced, had 1 to 2 inch gaps of open space. The stripping did not meet. I questioned the service tech present and he said they would repair it and deliver the RV to us the next day. Several days later, when they delivered the RV, The windows had not been repaired. We were told that they had ordered the wrong replacement stripping and would come to our home and replace the stripping the following weekend. They never called or came to our house. It has been 2 months later and my windows are still not repaired and we have been unable to use the RV. After numerous calls to the service manager, We were told that the stripping is in, but now they want more money, to repair windows that I have already paid for. I feel I have been ripped off by the service department. Out of 11,000 dollars paid to them, over 6,000 dollars was for labor. There are other smaller issues like the half dollar size area that is missing the enamal on the stove top, that was not there before and closet racks that were not put back in place. I have no trust in them. I can not begin to describe the months of being told different things by the service department. I felt I could trust noone ther,e and now will be forced to take them to small claims court.
