Purchased used 1998 Fleetwood Southwind 32v. Technicians went through entire RV, replaced water lines and assured me everything was fine and in working order. Took 10 days to replace water lines. Picked up RV, drove 50 miles home on the Interstate. No Problems. Took another 10 mile trip to empty black and grey tanks and came back home. No Problems.
Went to leave for a weekend getaway to the river and SURPRISE ..... No Reverse or forward gears. Lost the transmission and only drove it 70 miles. Their solution: Use your roadside assistance and have it towed to a local mechanic. $3,000 later, rebuilt transmission and RV only has 33,000 miles on it !!!!
