Candy Favorites, candyfavorites.com, Google Trusted Store Ripoff - Buyer beware Mckeesport Internet

 I ordered on-line after a considerable amount of searching for some nostolgic candy. My credit card was proptly charged and the items were listed as in stock with a 3 - 5 day delivery time, which I felt was reasonable. This site is listed as a guareenteed site by Google trusted stores....so I said well any problems I am covered. Now starts the trouble. After a week I called the store and received voicemail. I left a message inquiring where my package was. The next day I received an email from Sherry at candyfavoritescom informing me that the candy I ordered was backordered and would be available in one week - I did I want to wait. I thanked her for responding and said yes. Another week went by no candy I contacted Google because the package was guaranteed. They attempted to rectify the problem with the candy store and were unsuccessful over the next 10 days. Now I am at three weeks so I asked for a refund in writing to the store and advise them that I no longer have the credit card that I paid for the order with due to a closure in my bank account to please refund the money in the form of a check and mail it to me at their convenience. Instead of doing like I asked they refunded the money to the closed account anyway Google is now refusing to cover the order saying I received their refund even though I didn't. So the result is no candy no money. I've been ripped off. Buyer beware under no circumstances should you deal with this company. After further research on the internet there are dozens of rip-off complaints on other forums for example Yelp and other review sites so this is common practice for them buyer beware. Do not trust GOOGLE!!!!!!
