I have been harassed by CAMCO since October. I have experienced many of the same problems as others have posted. Once they even called and acted as if they were from my local clerk of the courts office.
I had got a call this morning from an attorneys office in Utah (it was a recording that I didn't listen to it). It made me think of CAMCO of whom I hadn't heard from recently (since I started recording their conversations) so I started working on a cease and desist letter today. Then in today's mail I get a letter from Riddle & Associates, P.C., Attorneys & Counselors at Law, PO Box 1187 Sandy, UT 84091-1187, saying they have been retained to collect a debt on behalf of CAMCO.
Has anyone ever dealt with these people? At the end of the letter it says that "this communication is from a debt collector", so will a cease and desist letter work for them as well? Arggh.... I was beginning to believe the harassment was over.
