CAPITAL CHOICE CONSUMER CREDIT IS A SCAM; I HAVE BEEN FOOLED; HAVE YOU?

I haven't been smart enough to check more in details about this company called the CAPITAL CHOICE CONSUMER CREDIT(CCCC) before I sent out the $43 check for express credit card processing fee.

Around November 2001, I received a certificate from Capital Choice Consumer Credit stating as follow:

"Congratulations, you are guaranteed approval for a Capital Choice Consumer Credit platinum credit card with a credit line of $5,000. This is not a maybe. we have reserved the card in your name"

Basically, all I need to do is to sign the form, and send it along with a $43 check for the express processing fee ($39 for regular processing fee), and they will send the card once they receive the form. It really sounds too good to be true, but I was thinking it would be nice to get another credit card for myself. The certificate looks professional and I decided to take the offer without even check more in details.

I have been waiting for 2 months for this card to come, but it never happened. So I decided to call the CCCC, but could not find their number on the certificate. Feeling awkward, I decided to check it on the internet, and my heart was breaking when I learned that CCCC is not more than a scam, and there are thousands of people across the nation have been fooled by this company.

Knowing there's nothing really much I can do, I decided to call the BUSINESS BUREAU in Florida state (where the CCCC's office is claimed to be there) and I learned that this company has a BAD reputation and the status of the company is still questionable. Fortunately, I was able to talk with a kind Business Bureau customer service, and he gave me a number of FEDERAL TRAIT COMMISION to file this complaint.

If you have been the victim of this credit card company, here's what I suggest you to do:
1. call the FEDERAL TRAIT COMMISION at 1-877-382-4357 to file your complaint.
2. close your bank account and re-open a new one. Since you have sent them your personal check with your checking or saving account information, they are still able to hold or even withdraw your money without your approval for other scam benefits or offers they will do again in the future!!!
3. Stop feeling sorry for yourself; we all learn from mistake!

As one of the victim, I truly suggest you to take action and file the report to the FEDERAL TRAIT COMMISION. This Commision will perform an investigation to the company and they will take LEGAL ACTION if they find out that the company has performed illegal operation. So please help me out to bring the Capital Choice Consumer Credit to JUSTICE !!! Eventhough we may not get our processing fee back, but at least we have brought the bad to justice.
