Capital First Aka Advantage Credit I want my money back rip-off Cleveland Ohio

My husband got a call for this so called company Advantage Credit. The rep told him he was approved for a Visa or MC with a credit limit of $4000.00. The rep then told him that there would be a one time only charge to our bank account for $59.99. My husband agreed to give out our bank account number out. The rep stated that he would receive the card in 10 days.

We got this packet in the mail from them. It was a cardboard merchant card and a catalog with very expensive junk in it. There was no Visa card in it like promised. In the catalog it stated we were to buy there junk and we would still have to pay for 50% plus shipping and handling then the rest of the balance would go on the card. My husband called Advantage Credit demanding a refund. The rep on the phone stated she would have to listen to the recorded tapes then call us back. With the help from my bank the money was refunded.

Two days ago we were balancing our check, come to find out we were $99.00 short. I called my bank to find out what it was. A company by the mane of Continental Auto Rescue aka Advantage Credit. I called the company back and the rep told me that I was not going to be refunded for that money due to my husband signing up for the services when he ordered the phony credit card a year ago...(He did not sign for anything but the card) The bank stated the my husband (Bob)had approved the debit. On all accounts my husband uses his given name as Robert.

With doing some research on the Internet, I found a lawyer that has a suite filed against Advantage Credit and the 43 other names that this company goes by... The lawyer would like to take on our case too.
