We found repeated calls from telephone number 305-370-1211 in North Dade, Florida on our caller id. Since it didn't say "unavailable" like most solicitations, i was curious who/what was calling us. So i did a yellow page and white page search and found nothing. I called the number thinking someone might answer and nothing. Then i decided to use google.com to search for the number and found this site. Thank goodness I did. Now I know who it is and that i definitely DON'T want to talk to them in case simply picking up the phone is enough for them to scam you, as if answering the phone is acceptance of their "great deal". Apparently this company solicits more than those with financial trouble or in need of repairing or re-establishing their credit. Although I don't know if they're looking for me or my husband, I know that we aren't the people one would expect them to target. We are financially sound, recently approved for over $300,000.00 for a mortgage and making over $100,000.00 per year. This isn't an attempt to toot my horn, simply an illustration that perhaps ANYONE is a potential victim. Apparently these companies are praying on anyone they can get, regardless of financial criteria. I hope my experience helps shed some further light on this situation and illustrates that we are all potential victims of these scams, regardless of our financial situations.
