I check my credit report every month and this month when I checked it, I had a collection agency saying I opened an account in 06/08 for $55 that was "seriously overdue". It killed my credit score by 80 POINTS!!! What a kick in the face. No one ever called me. I don't know what this is. It came out of nowhere. Now I have to wait 30 days for a dispute through Experian (who shouldn't have let them report this bogus claim). I don't even have a phone number because it said none was listed. I can't find a website to see what I'm dealing with. Nothing! WTF kind of company or fraud is this? Does anyone know?
