I am very vigilant about my credit report and just today I noticed that this company CMV/National Recovery Agency posted a collections account for $99. I have never heard anything about this account and have no knowledge of this debt. First thing tomorrow morning I will be contacting this company to demand that they verify this debt. How can they put this on my credit report without sending me 1 letter? I am furious!!! This is why the U.S. is in a "credit crunch". These creditors have the right to tarnish your credit and reputation without the consumer being given a fair opportunity to dispute these claims. The FTC laws need to be reviewed. This inaccuracy can ruin my score making it difficult for me to assist in "reviving the economy" by purchasing a home or car.
