Obvious scam
AUTHOR: Mike - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, January 29, 2009
This has got to be one of the more obvious scams I have ever seen. Between the misspellings, poor grammar, etc, I hope you were not fooled, even for a second.
Couple of other obvious things:
Large companies provide toll free numbers for customer contacts, not numbers with area codes.
Large companies don't provide low-level employees' first and last names.
The first notice you receive is not typically the "final notice."
Why would a state lottery contact YOU if you never mailed in a winning ticket?
CMON! It's obviously fake. Hoping it's real does not change that.
