Car Choice Motors-Gil Ben-simhon Hamiir Fraud/Misreprensation to lead you to purchase vehicles Pompano Beach, Florida

this is in reference to a car I purchased for my son at Car Choices

My son and I visited Car Choices (Gil Ben simhon )to purchase a car. we inquired as to a 2001 Toyota Celica GT, VIN #JTDDR32T810084411 he had on display. The vehicle was on sale for $5,995.00, and had a sign of sale as is. we inquired to the salesman as to the vehicles conditions, and Hamiir, the salesman, reassured us that this vehicle had been previously inspected for $100 for motor and transmission defects. we relied on the salesmans representations as to the vehicle conditions before deciding to purchase the car.

On the date of the transaction, I agreed to purchase the car for $5,995, plus tax and dealers fee of $878.04, total of $6,873.00. I gave a down payment of $3,200.00, signed an installment agreement of $244 per month, and drove the car home.

On March 14, 2010, five days after the purchase, the vehicles engine started to heat up to the point of exploding. When my son took the vehicle to a mechanic for an inspection on the following day, she was told that the engine was blown up.  Wecontacted the dealership to bring this matter to his attention, but we were told that we had purchased the car as is and that it was our responsibility to repair it. During this contact, we learned from ben simonh directly that this particular vehicle had never passed your dealers mechanics inspection for major repairs, contrary to what the salesman had represented to us on the date of the purchase.

Meanwhile, my son continued making the monthly installments.

Upon contacting ben simonh , he agreed to have his mechanic look at it. the car was towed  to his dealer. his mechanic agreed with the diagnosis of the vehicles engine problem, and he proceeded to inform us that the repairs would cost approximately $3,500 and that we had to pay for it.

Lastly, he gave us the option to pay you an additional $1500 and to have the vehicle repaired by hus. ( we also requested a written proposal from Gil which he denied)This proposal was rejected by us as the repairs along would cost an excess of $3,500, what added to the original down payment for the car in the amount of $3200.00 plus two payments of $260 each, total $8,720.00. In a last attempt to settle this matter, we offered him $1,000 to obtain title to the car which he  also refused .

the car is still at his dealer- we continue making payment to avoid repossession of the car while a law suit is pending against him.

Ben simonh and Hamirr are  a con-artists, I am alerting eveyone who views this website and sees this report and other reports that were filed from other people not to purchase vehicles from this dealer. ben simonh and his crew are simply crooks.
