I bought a carb from Chuck Rosa after reading all the positive reviews on their website which are clearly uploaded from himself and both of his friends and not from actual customers in an attempt to make his business sound prosperous and successful. 

First of all, the carburetor I received was not "anodized" or "powdercoated" at all. Instead they are clearly spray painted and I have video of his spraybomb refinishing process peeling off with a finger nail. This is one of many things that makes his outfit "seem" professional while delivering something far inferior.

The float adjustment screws were nearly rounded off as well as other hardware and he reused them all instead of installing anything new. I didnt disassemble the carb as it was being returned but there is little doubt in my mind there were more worn out parts internally. His ad also said the throttle shafts were rebushed and they were not. It looks to me as though he diassembles some of the carb and installs a 30 dollar rebuild kit, spraypaints them and sells them at a premium price. This carb was well over three hundred bucks and barely priced lower than a factory Holley rebuild that I subsequently biught and is like new. 

This guy has one of the worst attitudes I have ever come across on the internet and plays himself up to be a genius while treating his paying customers like fools. He claims to turn over HUNDREDS of carburetors a WEEK, yet recommends that I modify the vent tube of the damaged carburetor I received in such a way that would render it useless just to avoid a return to him. In typical know-it-all fashion, he insists that he is the only one with knowledge and that the customer is an idiot and unqualified. If only he knew. His reply is that he has been doing this for years so he is right. Not true. He has been doing a lot of things wrong and getting away with it because he is internet based ONLY. If he had a storefront and employed these business tactics, he would close shop in very short order. 

I am not a chronic complainer and in fact, this is the first complaint I ever made online because I feel it is a public service to inform potential customers that this guy and his product are trouble. Regardless of his fake customer profiles playing up his "excellent" workmanship and other nonsense. 

If you do decide to order one of his overpriced and underbuilt carbs that are thrown together just for you, you will enjoy a handful of anti-gay, anti semitic and racist propaganda that is disguised as "religious" literature. Regardless of ones belief thereof, who other than a trouble maker and pot stirrer would include that kind material in a professionally packaged internet sale item? Give me a break. This guys name is all over the internet as a trouble maker.

Buyer beware of this "company".
