Cardiff By The Sea Apartments = The Worst Management Ever Complete Liars, Rude Staff, Unsafe Building, Abusive Staff, Horrible Conditions Cardiff By The Sea California

I have moved into this disgrace of a complex a few months ago. Here is a summary of what has happened.

1. When signing the lease, I dealt with a rude, snappy, and unprofessional person named Priscilla. Not only is she nasty, but she is a complete liar.

2. I have been served three separate three day notices that were incorrect. These notices were illegal, and without any cause. The management tried to buy me off with a $50 dollar gift card as if that would solve the problem of them violating the law.

3. When they refused to resolve the issue, I went to the leasing office, I went in with my wife who was 9 months pregnant to get the situation resolved, instead of the management fixing the situation, a royal loser named Katherine called the police. She lied to the police, as a matter of fact the police had to warn her to not try to pull these stunts in the future.

4. Since I have lived here for about four months, the security gate has worked a total of about three weeks. This allows solicitors to come at all hours of the night, people use drugs in the complex, beer cans are lying around, and the pool curfew is ignored all the time. There is a spot for a security guard at the gate, the new management got rid of them and got a keycard system instead. Then they just canceled the keycard system so anyone can come in.

5. There is supposed to be security patrol here, but they are nowhere to be found. I am often awoken to drunks and unsavory characters screaming and yelling at 4 in the morning.

7. The corporate office is completely unresponsive and condones this kind of tenant abuse. I am in the process of getting a lawsuit filed for this tenant abuse, and breach of contract.

8. Priscilla and Katherine are bold faced liars. They are the dream team of horrible management.

9. The appliances are about 20 years old, the plumbing is horrible, and the ceilings still have popcorn ceilings. The windows are very old and don't work well.

10. Managment ingores requests and will not call you back in a timely manner.

11. There are always a huge turnover, looks like people can't wait to get out of this dump.

In my opinion this is the worst management team around, combined with substandard apartments. The management and leasing office are very deceptive, and I give this place 0 out of 10.
