 I made a petition about a cold and heartless reply Carol Baskin of Big Cat Rescue made concerning the death of a zoo keeper at the Palm Beach Zoo in Florida. On Facebook the zoo made a memorial post about the mauling of a tiger which caused her death. Baskin demanded the zoo post pictures where the mauling took place and offered no condolences to the family, friends, and coworkers of the loss. I thought this was crass and rude. Also hypocritical since a volunteer was recently bitten by a cougar, which she failed to cover up. There is a report at the hospital and health department. In this petition I covered many areas of concern, which I have evidence to prove my claims, and sent them to Care 2 the petition site. Since Carol Baskin got my petition stopped. I sent all the photos and other evidence in. Which proves all my claims. Still Care 2 refused to reinstate my petition. This is not fair. Why should Carol Baskin not be held accountable for her lies about the issues in her disgusting zoos and the countless lies she tells daily? Her cages are unsafe as are her feeding procedures since a volunteer has been bitten. There are pictures of a man petting a lioness through the cage. Since there are tours night and day, why are there not better caging so people cannot put their hands through the caging? Let's say it is true, and the volunteer cut herself.On the cage, since she stayed in the hospital for several days, obviously the material is unsafe and can easily cut people. What if that had been a child? Many of the cats only have a cheap plastic igloo dog house for shelter, yet this shelter takes in over three million a year. Only 18 percent is spent on the cats! When it rains, the felines live in mud, because Baskin is to cheap to buy a pump to drain the water. Water dishes are allowed to collect algae. I had pictures to prove all of this. I proved every word I said, and sent them all the evidence. It is unethical not to reinstate my petition. Carol Baskin should be held responsible for the condition of her own zoo being she is judging other people's zoos!!
