We bought an air conditioner from Care Heating and Cooling and at THEIR recommendation bought a Lennox unit. It has never worked properly since the date it was installed. We've sweltered year after year with their excuses and charges for repairs that never fixed anything. The only thing they CARED about was digging into our check book and savings. They are despicable and NOT to be trusted!!!
Again and it's not even hot out the unit not working and they refuse to try to make things right. We are at the point of dragging them into small claims court to try recoup part of what they have virtually STOLEN from us so that we can buy a unit that works from a reputable company - which they are not. I warn everyone thinking of using them for heating and cooling to beware least they end up being RIPPED OFF like we have been.

What company? Care Heating and Cooling? Lennox? Kellogg’s?
What was the date of purchase? What are the terms of the warranty? Have you requested warranty service from a different Lennox dealer?

We also wrote numerous letter to the president of the company, and had 2 service techs promise they would follow up-no one ever did anything. We spent nearly $8,000 in repairs for a unit that has barely worked. I took the reps advice when we purchased the unit. When I sold new construction (20+) years ago Lennox had an excellent reputation and it was considered an asset.
From reports filed I see now they have a very bad reputation. Sad to see a good company hit the skids.
