I have been with them for 2 years they paid off 2 of my creditors, they never negotiated with a bank that I had an outstanding balance, the bank put a hold on my bank account, so we had to pay over and above the original debt, now we have one credit card balance with Capitol One, we have the money to pay the debt even if they cannont negotiate a lower balance than what was originally owed, it has been over a month since we have had any contact with Persels & Associates, all we want to do is get this creditor paid, now its been turned over to NCO Financial. Which we were advised by numerous people that they are not friendly to deal with so its in Persels hands. I am so disgusted, we have the money to pay. WHY CANT THEY JUST GET US A PAYOFF AMOUNT. This situation has put a strain on us mentally, and is stopping us from enjoying credit freedom.

I have been with Persels & Associates since 2006. I had several credit cards along with medical bills piling up on me. I began looking for help. I found CareOne. I didn't want to consolidate debt, I wanted to eliminate my debt. So I was referred to Persels & Associates. I have been satisfied with them so far.
When I began the program, the contract stated that Persel's & Associates fees would come out of my payments upfront. A certain percentage of my payments went to them for their services. Their fee is based on a percentage of how much debt a person owes. Persels would take their fee then put the remaining money in an account to pay my debtors.
My fees are paid in full to Persels and they have have paid off several of my creditors. 100% of my monthly payments are put into an account to pay my debtors. I also receive a monthly statement that shows me how much I pay and who is paid with the money.
I have a creditor who took out a judgement against me in order to try and collect on it. However, I didn't have to worry about anything because Persel's completed all the necessary paperwork for me. I have not had to deal with any creditors and I do not receive phone calls from anyone.
For me, Persels & Associates has been a good company to work with on getting rid of debt.
