This stupid Care Wisconsin company isn't really caring at all like I've heard. I'm a client of theirs and wish I wasn't. I don't want a d**n caseworker who only sits on her a*s and twiddles her thumbs all day! This is not the CEO mind you - who knows what she does. She obviously runs a useless company whose budget is very tight for outrageous spending they have done over the years thus there is no money for people with disabilities to do anything they want. Here are some examples of the s**t they do:

1.) They won't approve any transportation to places out of their own counties (Waukesha county I'm in) and that is a ridiculous rule to have. In fact everything I list here is ridiculous and stupid.

2.) The only cab company they use/contract with is Best Cab Co. which should be called the Worst Cab Company. Search for a separate report about them. It is the worst taxi service in the world.

3.) Even if it is in their own county you can't go everywhere. This Care Wisconsin seems to be controlled by the State of WI and believe me I'm going to get to the bottom of this there as well. Example, even if it's in their own county, you can't go to places like nightclubs, bars, firearms shops, or adult product shops. I wanted to go to these places and they said no! That takes the fun out of life! They don't even pay for someone to take people to haircuts because then the person has to sit there and wait. I don't have my own driver's license or car yet, so unfort. I have to be under this stupid rule unless someone I know takes me there or I get my own license and car. Believe me, this is a big motivation. I don't want to deal with someone who parks in an odd space at the grocery store and doesn't even let me touch their radio in his car. And of course the stupid company won't pay for driving lessons or even housekeeping. This tells you they don't pay for anything useful!

4.) This being said simply, they treat you like a baby and not the age you are. Like you're some kind of retard.

5.) When you call and complain about problems, they either ignore the concern or act like it's no big deal but don't really offer a solution.

6.) Overall, they treat people under their care like it's a prison system, limiting what clients can do and everything else.

7.) They assign you a caseworker and don't let you pick one of your own. They don't even let you interview them to see if they are the best fit.

8.) When they do visit they talk about unimportant things that I don't give a rip about. I don't want to talk about medications, the dumb a*s bus, or anything else stupid. I want to talk about cars, sex, clothes, music, radio, and various sports.

9.) They keep changing staff people around so every so often you have to explain everything about yourself to yet another person and my life is complicated.

10.) If you don't have a family to support other needs you might as well be in a maximum security prison for life without parole. They would just leave you hanging making you so bored w/ no transportation to anywhere fun that you'd rot and die. Forget about going on vacations, you'd be sitting in an apartment forever with nothing but s**t to do!

All in all, do not deal with this Care Wisconsin. They don't care, simple, period, and end of story! They need to be OUT OF BUSINESS, not handling and running people's lives the way they think they should! Karen M. is the CEO. They don't resolve any issues, they just make life harder for everyone.
