My cat got deathly ill and need blood transfusions and a specialist. I couldn't afford the work so my vet suggested I sign up for CareCredit. They offered a year of interest free financing and gave me hope I could save my cat.
I spent over $4,000 saving his life. But the hell has been dealing with CareCredit. They are thieves and hucksters. After the first couple months they started charging interest. They even gave me the wrong payoff amount so I would be charged more interest. When I would call, they kept saying it was the Vets fault and that they needed to fix it. Well I would go to the Vet and they would adjust the charge and change it to interest free and I thought I would be done.
The next month I would be back to receiving interest charges and that it was again the Vets fault. But you could see where they paid off the interest free charge and then charged me a fixed pay again. The workers are rude and disconnect you when you ask for a supervisor.
3 months ago I thought I got lucky. I got a customer service agent who reviewed my case and said she saw the problems. She said that it would be taken care of and that the finance charges would be reversed. That my charges would be changed to the 0% they were supposed to be. I was very happy.
That lasted a month. I got my next bill and nothing changed. More finance charges. I got one of the rudest supervisors to date. Stacey is a mean unhelpful person. And I am sure reading this he will be happy to hear that. After dealing with him, I would pull my own teeth out rather than use CareCredit. I mailed in a dispute form as required and received no response. They did note in my account that I should be explained about fixed pay, but no help or written response.
I need help and need others to help. Let's teach them that they cannot run an unlawful credit card company and get away with it in the USA. We need to be heard, and take action.
