I am responding to an add placed in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette on 05/06/2009 in the employment classified section from "Career Hotline.org".
This was for warehouse jobs that were FT at approx. $18-22 / hour , with benefits.
In this area this certainly raises an eyebrow; and having 13 years of warehouse experience in the past, I eagerly listened to their phone pitch.
You have to be ready to work with 2 weeks notice NOW; and you need $ 195 for a placement fee upfront.
So far no problem, I thought.
Until I followed their instructions to go to their website, " if ready to work".
I Googled their name and got the Ripoff Report 1st!!
I saw someone I believe was in California, reporting word for word what I read and went through. And they have nothing to show for their efforts.
I hope more people report this; as I want no one to lose $200!!!
Job ripoffs hurt alot here in Pittsburgh.
