Career Network, Inc. is not a new firm - the FTC has previous action against Career Network, Inc: http://www.ftc.gov/os/caselist/careernetwork.shtm

Their previous FTC fault was with government and postal jobs - they have obviously reworked their fraud for generic jobs. Craigslist and other legitimate websites are their target for phony job listings. Once a consumer responds, they send an e-mail with login information to a website (I have yet to get mine to work) or a link to a set of continuing education advertisements.

The advertisements can not be ignored while attempting to continue to gain more information of the referenced and misrepresented open position, ie. consumers are required to supply personal information and requests for more information with their partnered (unjust enrichment?) advertising firms.

All of this and the reports from others' experiences adds to my belief in Career Network, Inc. to be unjustly harming the public interest.

I have received five e-mail responses, so far, from Career Network, Inc. like the example below. I have edited out my personal information.
