CAREFREE JOURNEYS STRATEGIS REALTY LLC, ebay resellers of timeshare sold me an oceanview timeshare contacted resort and administration office they said that you can not make a reservation for an oceanview timeshare. Internet

Look out! Heads UP! Don't let CAREFREE JOURNEYS/43Namal EBay excellent rating fool you! Timeshares take months to close and any problems you have have to be reported to EBay's resolution center within 45 days (another scam brought to you by the moneymakers at EBay).

I bought an OCEANVIEW Cabo, Mexico timeshare on EBay from 43Namal who now are CAREFREE JOURNEYS, Vininc, Strategis Realty LLC. When I called the Melia, Cabo, Mexico the timeshare department said that all of the timeshares at the property are garden view only!

I had the resort put this statement in writing and email it to me then I forwarded it to Kyle Stobie at CAREFREE JOURNEYS. I thought this would be the end of the situation and the seller would make good on their guarantee (for misrepresentation) as stated on their auction page and refund my money.

Kyle Stobie a representative of Carefree Journeys offered to cancel this transaction provided he could ascertain that I could not make a reservation for a gardenview timeshare at the Melia, Cabo, Mexico.

Several days later I received an email from Kyle saying that his "liason" contacted Danny at The Melia reservation center. According to Kyle I could reserve an oceanview timeshare condo. I was instructed to call Danny at The Melia to find out for myself.

The first time I called Danny was busy and I spoke with Tamara at the reservation department. Tamara told me that I could not reserve nor get a confirmation for an oceanview timeshare. She said that I could request on oceanview timeshare and maybe I would get lucky and be upgraded to one when I was checking in at the resort. But, she was unaware if they had any Oceanview timeshares at The Melia, Los Cabos!

Later, I did a follow up call to Danny at The Melia reservation center and he said that there were some oceanview condos at the Melia in Cabo (I asked for how many but did not get an answer) and he told me that the Oceanview condos , in fact, could NOT be reserved but be REQUESTED. He said the timeshares were assigned by the resort a week before arrival.

Danny also mentioned that The Ebay Auction Oceanview Timeshare description was very misleading and deceptive and the seller now known as Carefree Journeys should have stated that oceanview can be requested but neither be reserved or confirmed.

I reported this to Kyle Stobie at Carefree Vacations and he told me that there was NOT a misrepresentation error. Give me a break!

So now that this resale company is known as Carefree Journeys it is super ironic that their guarantee is more liberal and it seems like they are good natured enough to refund your money if you are not (simply) completely satisfied.! Buyer Beware!

Any ask about the cost of transfer fees! I bought this for less than $5 but it is thousands that has to be paid to the Melia to sell this gardenview timeshare to someone else.
