CareOne/Persels & Associates Bogus, SCAM, Misleading, Misrepresent , Internet

This company is the biggest SCAM and HIGH price to pay for "help"!  And I unfortunately fell into it. 

I started out with CareOne to help manage my debt.  When I could no longer fulfill there requirements they recommended me to Persels & Associates.  They were "attorneys" that would work with my creditors to reduce each debt.

After about 10-12 months on the program, I called to see how things were going and to see how much money was set aside in the "escrow" account to give to creditors.  To my surprise there was very little. I questioned this and they stated that for the first 18 months on the program, the majority of the money (95%) they were drafting out was going to legal fees.  They also stated that they could not work with any creditor until at least 50% of the debt I owed each creditor was in escrow before they could make contact.

Since I was so far into the program at the time I continued. (Bad decision I now realize).

I received an offer settlement from one of my creditors, and at the advise of the attorney (a rare occasion that I had contact) since the creditor was taking me to court to not accept the offer.  So I didn't...guess what happened?!  They now have raised the settlement offer by $1,500 and must be paid now to avoid them taking me back to court. 

I received very little to no help from any attorney for any of my creditors.

Bottom line...DO NOT UTILIZE THIS PROGRAM!!!  I have since quit the program and have settled with my creditors on my own.  Try to work with your creditors on your own first, they are easier to work with than you think!!
