CARES Misleading Deceptive Veterinary Practice Langhorne, Pennsylvania

I am writing because of my horrible experience at this charlitan facility. I am inspired to do so as I read Kel from Levittown's report and about the outrageous and similar treatment she received at the same facility. Last week I found my cockatiel at the botom of his cage. We called CARES, first, to make certain that could handle avian issues. I raced there with my pet and 10 minutes later I was in an exam room with a vet(we'll call her that) who actually babbled and rambled about how she was the "avain expert" on staff but couldn't really do anything as they didn't have the proper equipment to handle birds!

I was catatonic - absolutely thunderstruck !!!  First, I couldn't believe that this inarticulate neanderthal in front of me actually made it out of high school - let alone a veterinary medical cirriculum. Second, this facility lied to me - lied to me  - when they claimed they could handle birds!!  Why was I there if this was the extent of their expertise!! I would have been just as well off taking the bird to the Shell station next door !!!

If this wasn't hideous enough, this foul center for animal and human torture actually had the unparalled gall to charge me $ 105.00 just to waste my precious and fleeting time when I should have taken the bird straight to U of Penn. (which I did) and had a better chance of saving his life.

Never, ever take ANYTHING here - not even a roach.
