Carl C Dooley Sykes Place Plantation Knowingly sold a lame horse Tuscaloosa Alabama

I'm newly retired and wanted to get a good riding horse I could just get on and go trail riding.  I saw Mr. Dooley's adds on Equinenow and called about several he had for sale.  I spoke with Mr. Dooley and decided to travel to Tuscaloosa to see his horses.  I picked out 2 horses to try and my husband and I rode trails going up and down hills, water, slow & faster to test out the horses.  I even took one of the horses on my own and rode the trails again. 

I couldn't have asked for a better experience from Mr. Dooley and his staff.  I ended up buying both horses and when I mentioned fitting them both in my horse trailer Mr. Dooley offered to let us take his trailer and the horses home.  This was on top of the fact that I didn't bring a check since I didn't intend to buy that day.  I left with his 2 horses and he only had my name & phone number.  I rode both horses this morning and they are great. 

We're bringing a check and his trailer back this afternoon and I couldn't be happier with my new guys!  I ran boarding stables and equine rescue for years and I know you can't please everyone and every deal doesn't always work out, but I feel Mr. Dooley is a good person to work with and not a rip off.  I just wanted to post this to show Mr. Dooley does have good horses and is a fair man. 

One thing I have learned is that shipping horses doesn't always turn out good....you don't know what the hauler actually does once they pick up the horses....but that's not the fault of Mr. Dooley.
